Grown– Ethiopia produces the “Harrar Longberry and Sidamo” berries but the cream of the crop is Ethiopian Yirgacheffe which is still virtually unknown by most people. This “Yirg”bean is considered by many to be the finest Ethiopian coffee of all. CLIMB’s Roast only roast this top shelf Yirgacheffe bean.
Need to know– The Ethiopian Yirgacheffe coffee is spicy and fragrant with a slight chocolaty and/or nutty quality. Subtle notes included in this roast are citrus or tangerine. Of all the iced coffees we do this roast goes well over ice.
